Okay, Dreamcast racing fans, it's time to Rush! Midway is bringing Rush 2049, its popular arcade driving juggernaut, to the Dreamcast, and so far it's looking good. Midway more or less invented the go-anywhere style of arcade racing in the original San Francisco Rush, and 2049 takes it to a new level. This time you're racing through the Bay Area again, but you're behind the wheel of any of several futuristic cars that scream with power and, of course, explode if you flip them over. It seems as though gravity in the year 2049 is much weaker than it is today: these street machines take to the air with incredible ease. If you're into wild jumps, fast cars, and gorgeous future tracks, then strap yourself in when Rush 2049 powerslides into stores in early September.
