The eagerly anticipated sequel to the hot RPG, Baldur's Gate, is almost here! Gamers everywhere are drooling to get their hands on it.
Can't wait for more cool RPG action? Interplay is prepping the sequel to the huge hit, Baldur's Gate, for prime time with some very cool features. Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn takes the already impressive Baldur's Gate engine and adds new features, like adjustable resolution and the ability to hide the interface so you can see more of the action. BioWare has added Half-Orcs to the list of playable races, for folks who want to play as one of these ugly brutes, and new character kits, such as Assassins, Beastmasters, and Berserkers. You'll also see three new character classes from the upcoming D&D 3rd Edition Rules--the Sorcerer, Monk, and Barbarian--and the developers hinted that a very special surprise is in store for Dungeons and Dragons fans. You'll have to wait and see what the developers have up their sleeve when Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn adventures into stores this fall.
