From handheld to home, the first portable version of GTA makes the transition to PS2. We've got fresh new screens to tide you over until tomorrow

Well, after a few delays, Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories finally hits the PS2 tomorrow, and Rockstar was nice enough to drop us a few new screens right before the finish line.

We also had a pretty boxed copy of the game sent to us on Saturday, so we've been truckin' through the story to get the review up by tomorrow morning. And while we can't let you in on the verdict yet, we can let you take a gander at these fancy new screens that give a little bit of insight into what the game is going to look like.

As you can tell, LCS on PS2 is very similar looking to the PSP version. In fact, you'll find few, if any, differences in the two games. The story follows Toni Cipriani through his trials and tribulations of spreading his services thin among numerous Liberty City employers, while maintaining the good name of the Leone family.

The multiplayer has been axed though, so no gang wars with your buddies. Bummer.

LCS on PS2 has that nice shine and the draw distance is looking very similar to the PSP game and to GTA3 as well. We'll have nice side-by-side comparisons when the full review goes live.

Liberty City Stories releases tomorrow for the generous price of $19.99. Head on back first thing in the morning for the complete lowdown.
