Hide & Seek & DestroyIf you've ever played War with your friends as a kid, then Hidden & Dangerous is for you. TalonSoft is taking the title and putting it through the Dreamcast wringer to make sure you get the most playable and enjoyable version of H&D yet.
Saving Ryan's Privates
In this World War II tactical shooter, you take charge of up to eight soldiers (four of whom can go into a mission at a time) and try to advance the Allies' position. Each of your little guys is rated on different stats, like shooting ability, speed, etc., so you'll have to keep that in mind when commanding them. You'll be able to give them waypoints and have them wait for you in certain places, or you can even take direct control of them in order to take advantage of their strengths. Whereas in Rainbow 6 you gave your orders before the mission, in H&D you plan the mission as it goes on.
Somewhere Over the Rainbow 6
You can expect some compelling objectives, too, and the missions don't necessarily go smoothly from the get-go. In one instance, your plane gets shot down before you reach the objective, and you'll have to round your guys up before you can move on. Unexpected twists and turns should make for an interesting experience, even if the tactical gameplay doesn't keep armchair captains glued to the squad-level action.
