Chris and Erin Roberts, the minds behind the groundbreaking PC space shooter Wing Commander, hope to break new ground with StarLancer for the Dreamcast, the first online space shooter for any console. In this port of the PC game, you'll fly any of 12 spaceships armed with multiple weapons in a dangerous universe filled with 80 types of neutral and hostile ships. Or you can engage in online dogfights against other gamers, join multiplayer squadrons, get promoted, and order other people around. The pulse lasers and jackhammer missiles start flying in September.
