Threads is an action-based exploration RPG that casts you as either a mysterious young man named Rue or a plucky young woman called Mint, each with a storyline all their own. Whichever character you choose, you'll have the ability to morph into almost any monster you've killed and use their unique abilities to get past certain areas. For example, the gargoyles' flying ability comes in handy when you're trying to cross lava, while the fire lizard Gudon's fire breath will melt ice barriers and do special damage to certain enemies. Action RPG fans will have a lot to look forward to as the Threads of Fate unwind in early July.
