The Bond series returns to the successful Goldeneye formula with The World is Not Enough, the FPS version of the latest 007 film. In James Bond's latest adventure, you'll encounter mobs of intelligent enemies and pick up the latest in MI6 gadgets and weaponry, but you'll also participate in those most Bond-like of pursuits, the boat chases, skiing battles, and casino scenes that make the movie series so predictable and fun. The new Bond game even contains a "Blackjack engine," which allows you to play a spot of cards to earn money for one of your missions - and with 007's new X-ray specs, you can cheat! The PS2 version should smoke, boasting twice the polys of the PC version and four times that of Quake III. The N64 will feature a couple of levels that won't appear in the PSX version, but the PSX version looks to be one of the smoothest running FPS games on that ancient platform. Expect the PSX and N64 versions around Thanksgiving, with the PS2 version coming to town in December.
