The sequel to Sony's critically acclaimed macabre adventure, Medievil, is well on its way. In Medievil 2 you play once again as Sir Dan Fortesque, who awakens in a museum years after his antics in the first Medievil.

The sequel to Sony's critically acclaimed macabre adventure, Medievil, is well on its way. In Medievil 2 you play once again as Sir Dan Fortesque, who awakens in a museum years after his antics in the first Medievil. Sir Dan is once again charged with defeating the evil Lord Palethorn and returning the Book of Black Magic to its rightful owners.

Dead Funny
Medievil 2 will continue the original's macabre sense of humor with fluid, cartoonlike animation and insane enemies and allies. The boss of the museum level is a giant demon dinosaur that breathes fire and flies around the arena. Quite impressive for a PlayStation game. The rest of the game is every bit as quirky and macabre as you've come to expect, with crazy characters and a Looney-Tunes-meets-Danny-Elfman score.

Dance of the Dead
Medievil 2 looks to have all the sword-swinging, undead cleaving action from the original, and then some. If you were a fan of the original Medievil, well, this is a no-brainer, as it's pretty much more of the same. Anyone else who is looking for a good dark comic adventure should get ready to go Medievil 2 on May 10.
