Just Hang On
It'll be another couple of months or so before you'll get your hands on Spider-Man for the PSX, but the GamePros got an advance build, and it's looking good. You play as your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, vanquishing foes with a shot of web and a sharp wit, as you travel through such famous Spidey locales as the Daily Bugle, Times Square, and a New York bank. They're all free-roaming areas, so you'll have total control over where Spidey goes as he thwarts evil at every turn.

Spider-sense? Tingling?
Of course, you'll have all of Spidey's powers at your disposal, from wall-crawling to web-slinging. You'll have such famous spidey-tricks as the zip-line, yanking, and trapping webs, as well as new tricks such as a web dome shield and web spikes, which make your punches even more deadly. You'll need all the power you can get, though, since all of Spidey's villains are here, including the deadly Scorpion. Now is your Spider-sense tingling?

He Does Whatever a Spider Can
From hanging from the ceiling and trapping foes to swinging from rooftop to rooftop, Spider-Man has it all. As long as some of the iffy control issues are worked out, Neversoft's Spider-Man should retain all the fun and mayhem of the Spider-Man comics when it swings onto shelves in June.
