Pokemon's not the only collectible monster game on the block. First there was Monster Rancher, an awesome gladiator-style monster-breeding game. Then there was Pokemon. And now, thanks to Bandai, there is Digimon World, based on the popular kids' cartoon show, Digimon. In Digimon World, you travel to the world of the Digimon and attempt to gather all the lost Digimon back into the safety of town. Digimon World looks to involve you in a much more hands-on role: feeding, scolding, praising, and even cleaning up after your digital pet as the two of you wander about, defeating wild Digimons as you go. PlayStation fans who dig Pokemon might want to sit up and take a look at Digimon World as it digivolves over the next month or so.
