This drum simulator is a step up from the earlier Guitar Freaks and Beatmania, but even the completely tone-deaf can learn to bash skins with zeal. You can jam to old favorites or pick some new tunes in ska, punk, fusion, metal, samba, or rock styles. Drumania features graphics and gameplay that are true to the arcade and mirrors its predecessors with the same, top-to-bottom scrolling action to keep your rhythm right on. Add Konami's five-pad drum controller, and you'll achieve the game's ultimate perfection. Aside from main mode and free mode, Drumania also introduces session mode, where players can plug their guitar controllers into the second port and strum along with the drums to most of the songs. With a multitap, two guitars can be added to turn your living room into a concert hall.
