Roll Over
Psygnosis, arguably the masters of high-speed combat racing, plan to follow up their awesome Rollcage title with Rollcage Stage II, which promises to be hot. All the topsy-turvy tire-spinning action of the first game returns with all-new features in this spiritual cousin of WipeOut XL. Take control of a car that can't wreck, driving up walls and across ceilings in your quest to blast your way to the front of the line. If your car flips over, just keep on driving, because your car moves just as fast rolled-over as it does right side-up.

Wipe 'em Out
In addition to some fast driving on some of the sickest courses you'll see in a while, Rollcage Stage II expands on the original's combat aspects, bringing you all-new weapons and tactics. You'll be able to target hanging billboards and make them fall on your opponents' heads as they follow behind you. There will be weapons to allow you to alter the perception of your opponent, making them trip like they've eaten bad shrimp. The typical shields and boosts round out the weapon selection. Rest assured, you'll have plenty of opportunities to take out your road rage in this sequel to Rollcage.

Head Over Wheels
If the perview version is any indication, Psygnosis might again be racing with the champions. The control is a little loose, and it's still a bit difficult to get headed in the right direction after a wreck, but a new "face-forward" command helps get you going after a heinous crash. Wait 'til you see the high-velocity rain effects and other graphical gems in Stage II; you'll be convinced the PSX has a bit more time in it when Rollcage Stage II hits stores later this month.
