The latest installment of the Driver franchise isn't just a refinement of the last game; it's an entirely new beast. Driver: Parallel Lines refocuses the games attention on what made the series great when it was initially released-- realistic car chases.

Parallel Lines will take place in New York City during 1978. Players will assume the role of yet another driver in an underworld gang who's tasked with various missions.

Our hands-on time allowed us to cruise the entire five boroughs of New York City and the outskirts of New Jersey. The city looked awesome as the game seamlessly demonstrated impressive real time lighting and shadow effects onscreen.

With an intuitive control system, the ability to control up to 80 vehicles, an impressive graphics engine, and the ability to go online and play with 8 other players, Driver: Parallel Lines is on its way to ghetto super stardom.
