The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction

Hulk Smash!...again?

The unstoppable force from the Marvel Universe is back in The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction. Radical games have gone all out to bring The Hulk and his destructive tendencies to a free-roaming environment reminiscent of the Spider-Man and Grand Theft Auto games.

In Ultimate Destruction, The Hulk smashes through over 30 missions and 40 side-quests in order to track down a cure for his socially awkward malady. There are two main environments: a realistic cityscape and dust-choked badlands. To help the Hulk combat the agents of law and order, hell have a robust arsenal of 140 moves, which players purchase using Smash Points. The Hulk can also pick up interactive objects and fashion them into weaponsthere's just nothing like surfing down Main Street on top of a bombed-out bus.

The game's physics and destruction engine were certainly cool, but the playable preview suffered from weird collision detection and some awkward camera controls. Hopefully, these issues can addressed by Hulks launch date. Otherwise, Hulk SMASH!
