This time around, 989's covert-ops game hits the market free of Metal Gear Solid's oppressive shadow. You play as Gabe Logan, ultra-manly covert operative from the first game, as well as other members of his elite team, as you try to stop the sale of the deadly Syphon Filter virus. You have to use your knowledge of high-tech weaponry and stealth to stop the bad guys and save the world. If the sequel is half as good as the first, then action gamers will have a blast when Syphon Filter 2 sneaks onto store shelves in mid-March.
