Five years after its theatrical debut, David Finchers gritty tale of violent underground fighting and raw, primal masculinity is getting the full video-game treatment care of developer Genuine Games. As playing through a lonely mans schizophrenic nervous breakdown and subsequent mental deterioration wouldnt be too much fun (or would it?), Fight Club focuses instead on the no-holds-barred brawling of the film by employing a uniquely original and extremely realistic fighting system complete with real-time facial and skeletal deformation effects (meaning that fists flying into faces yield busted noses and broken bones that will directly impact the gameplay). You can either fight as one of the 10 playable characters from the film (plus four unlockables) or choose to create your own upgradeable fighter to use in the arcade, versus, survival, training, or story modes. Fight Club will also feature full Xbox Live support with downloadable content and tournament and player rankings for those wishing to take their beef into cyberspace.
