Shining Force: Resurrection of the Dark Dragon

Sega brings back an old favorite from the deadan ancient ancestor to Final Fantasy Tactics.
The original Shining Force for the Sega Genesis was one of the first console tactics games to ever see the light of day on U.S. shores. A couple sequels, remakes, and spinoffs later, Sega has come full circle with Shining Force: Resurrection of the Dark Dragon, a remake of that landmark title with some new graphics and epilogue chapters that weave a new parallel story line and a few new characters into the game. After playing with the preview build, its apparent that Shining Force is a little simple and dated, but the games story and cool, cartoony character designs still hold up. The graphics and game system will seem very familiar to anyone who has played the Golden Sun series, and that shouldnt be surprisingthis was one of Camelots first games. Hopefully, the fantastic Shining Force II or even the underplayed Saturn epic Shining Force III will eventually find their way to the GBA screen.
