AirForce Delta Strike puts you on the super-highway to the danger zone.
Since 1999, AirForce Delta games have appeared on just about every non-Sony platform, but now Konami has set its sights on the PS2 audience. The forthcoming AirForce Delta Strike will spruce up the flight combat series with a futuristic story line spread over 60 missions. An ambitious collection of aircraft will include over 100 planes and over 20 playable pilots (Konami enthusiasts will be glad to know that the Vic Viper from Gradius is on the roster of available aircraft). AirForce Delta Strike remains firmly rooted in the arcade-style action of its forebears but will offer multiple endings and even take players into space. Apparently, the WWII prop planes will become less than useful as the game progresses. Sounds good so far, but will it make you stop wanting to play Crimson Skies?
