It?s time for college hoops ESPN-style.
For many fans, the competition at the collegiate level is where the passion and raw intensity of sports are best on display. If that sounds like your M.O., you?ll probably be interested in ESPN College Basketball 2K4 for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox. Formerly known as NCAA College Basketball 2K3, this series is still in its infancy and is hoping to catch up to rival EA Sports and its March Madness franchise. To do this, ESPN is adding and improving on a large checklist of features like crowd chants, authentic mascots, college-style plays, and Create-A-School and Rivalry modes. The Xbox preview version played and controlled much like last year?s NBA game but included many tweaks that mirror school playbooks and personalities. It will be a tight final four this year.
