The latest in a long line of video-game spin-offs, Mobile Suit Gundam: Encounters in Space places players in the second half of the original Mobile Suit Gundam story. As Amuro Ray, you must engage the Principality of Zeon in a series of space skirmishes. Side Story and Ace Pilot modes give players access to new Mobile Suits and characters created specifically for this game. The preview build contained lengthy cut-scenes that reinforced the game�s connection to the animated series. The graphics were slick, and the mechs looked awesome, but the unintuitive controls took some getting used to and will hopefully be refined before the final release.
