Speed, adrenaline, and Kudos come only as standard factory options with Project Gotham Racing 2.

Sure, the original Project Gotham Racing had fast, realistic cars and some nifty gut-twisting road tracksbut the games true highlight was the point system that awarded Kudos for your driving flair, stunt finesse, and, of course, vehicle safety (not crashing). The more Kudos you earned, the more tracks and cars you opened up. This unique reward scheme is also the main attraction of PGRs sequel, paying you dividends for additional moves like powerslides, drafting on the race line, and cornering on two wheels.

So far, PGR2 shows great improvement over the first game. Tracks are designed with much more detail, and even the beginner courses are of a competitive length. A solid lineup of American, Japanese, and European speedsters from such manufacturers as Chevrolet, Toyota, and Ferrari all rumble the pavement with noticeable handling differences and look absolutely sharp traveling at over 100 miles per hour. An extensive list of features on Xbox Live already guarantees some Kudos for Project Gotham Racing 2, too.
