Koei lays siege on the Xbox audience with Dynasty Warriors 4.
Dynasty Warriors 4 is bringing all its button-mashing Chinese historical fun to the Xbox this September. The end result should be an almost identical experience to the PlayStation 2 version with all the siege engines, officer and bodyguard editors, duels, items, and combo attacks left intact. The big difference is that Xbox owners will be treated to Dolby Digital 5.1 sound, assuming their rig is set up for it. The Xbox preview version was still a little rough around the edges; blocking and parrying was difficult at best, but it was a cinch to key in massive attack combos. In the world of Dynasty Warriors, the old saying is true: The best defense is a good offense.
