The famous SWAT goes worldwide. But can it uphold the law of gameplay on a grander scale?
Global Strike Team takes place in the near future, where SWAT skills are in demand all over the world. You play as a commander who, along with two sidekicks, takes out bad guys in a variety of urban environments. Voice recognition is the hot tool for gaming?s future, and although verbal commands worked on an early version of GST on the Xbox, they seemed to have a slower response time than just pressing buttons. Still, for a game based on SWAT tactics, yelling at aggressors to put down their weapons or directing a companion to clear a room is exhilarating. If Argonaut can polish the visuals and improve A.I. movements, Global Strike Team could make a favorable appearance this September.
