Gotcha Force takes playing with toys to a whole new, much more visceral level.
Remember when your friends would come over after school, and you�d take all your toys and make them fight each other in a genre-agnostic battle royale to see which was the coolest toy of them all? You know, the Hot Wheels vs. GI Joe vs. Transformers vs. He-Man vs. Star Wars vs. Robotech melee that always ended with the Ultimately Awesome Veritech Fighter annihilating everyone else? Gotcha Force re-creates this spirit, but not the toys themselves, in a 3D action game that is due this fall. Several gameplay options allow for 1 or 2 player story mode, 2 on 2 battle, or 4 player free-for-all. A promising feature lets players trade units and construct new units out of the pieces of old ones. This game looks like it will be perfect for kids who like to play rough with their toys, but don�t want to risk breaking them.
