Whether the sexy beach volleyball genre continues to thrive remains to be seen, but there�s still at least one long-awaited title coming that should keep you busy for a while. Outlaw Volleyball is hitting stores early next week and features four-human controlled simultaneous action and play on Xbox Live. Those features alone are enough to distinguish the game from the rest of the crowd, but anyone who�s played Outlaw Golf knows there�s much more to be potentially excited about. The preview version of Outlaw Volleyball features the familiar brand of comedy found in OG, but with slightly raunchier tendencies thanks to OV�s Mature ESRB rating versus the former�s coyer Teen rating.These latest screens show off some of the Drills that each player goes through to power up their attributes like power, offense, defense, and speed. Mini-game-esque chores range from setting a ball in a designated area to a funny Space Invaders-like ball spiking challenge. Some challenges like the blocking drill offer a nice visual reward (yes, there�s a screen of that in the gallery below). Outlaw Volleyball should be in stores July 8; we�ll be back shortly afterward with a full review of both the offline and online experiences.
