Gregory Horror Show

Scared blockheads meet dead Mugwumps in this thoroughly strange game from Capcom.
Misshapen, square-headed rats play with giant syringes as lost souls ramble around the moldering halls of a dank hotel seeking help from a pink sponge dinosaur nurse...its William Burroughs meets Pokmon in The Gregory Horror Show! Capcom is taking the puzzle game to surreal new places with this bizarre title that traps the player in a scary hotel in an alternate dimension from which there is No Exit. Well, there is An Exit, but Death is the only one who knows where it is. Hell only show it to you if you gather souls for him, so off you go to collect the souls of the other poor guests who are trapped in the rooms and corridors of the mind-bending Gregory House. But the deranged residents of the inescapable inn covet their precious insane spirits. Once the player has expunged a soul, the enraged guest will unleash a special attack that drains the players mentality points. Lose all your mentality points and youll be trapped in Gregory House forever, ostensibly listening to Hotel California ad nauseum. Gameplay combines elements of the puzzle, horror-survival, and collecting genres. The Gregory Horror Show is based on a Japanese cartoon of the same name, and features character design by the inimitable Naomi Iwata. Try to stay sane til Fall, when The Gregory Horror Show is due to arrive in the States.
