Group S Challenge is Capcom?s slick Xbox-fueled answer to Gran Turismo 4, a racer with a solid S-class lineup of cars from Toyota, Nissan, Subaru, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Lotus, Chevrolet, Ford, Audi, RUF, TVR and Renault. Capcom is putting a new graphics engine under the hood, complete with a new light-sourcing technology that enhances the look of shadows and reflections. Group S Challenge offers a standard set of modes: Circuit, Arcade, and Replay, along with some perfunctory customization options. Tracks are drawn from a set of metropolitan locations like Tokyo and Monaco. Group S Challenge is an Xbox exclusive...but now that street racing games are the next snowboarding, PS2 or GC owners probably won?t feel left out.
