Get ready for some intense shooting action�and save yourself 250 bucks at the same time.

The Metal Slug series has been one of the last refuges for fans of side-scrolling action shooters, so it�s great news that the most highly regarded installment finds itself in a new home. Previously only available in arcades and in costly Neo Geo home cart format, Metal Slug 3 is now coming out for the PlayStation 2. The great news is that new features not seen anywhere else will be packed in, like an extra mission where you play one of the enemy soldiers, and Fat Island (US name may differ) where you race against a friend to gobble up as many food items as possible. A handy mission select is also available to go back and hone your skills on trouble spots.
