One of the best fighting games of 2002 evolves into a top contender for 2003.
Virtua Fighter 4: Evolution builds on the success of its predecessor by tweaking what worked and adding a handful of new features. The graphics are smoother, load times quicker, and a new Quest mode simulates the arcade tournament experience. The Quest mode also lets players unlock hundreds of items and accessories. The 14 characters from the previous game all return and have various upgrades to their arsenal in order to take on the two new challengers, Brad Burns and Goh Hinogami. Brad is a kickboxer looking for a tougher challenge and Goh uses Judo to destroy opponents on behalf of the evil organization J6. The evolution will be televised and in stores this Fall.
