E3 2003: Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater

Word of the brand secret Metal Gear project for Nintendo?s GameCube broke a few weeks ago, leaving fans wondering if a true sequel to Sons of Liberty was in the works. The answer is yes, there will be one in the form of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. Konami is promising the game will break new ground in the action genre, with new gameplay and depth. Plenty of plot twists are also mentioned, but the biggest could be the heavier than previously thought involvement of creator Hideo Kojima. Past statements indicated he was going to step back from the series and let others continue his work, but that doesn?t appear to be the case.
