The purpose of the ninja is to flip out and kill people?TO THE EXTREME!
While everyone knows that the purpose of the ninjas is to flip out and kill people, few people know they are also excellent at extreme sports. This is something the world will come to realize once I-Ninja is released upon unsuspecting PlayStation 2 and GameCube owners later this year.In I-Ninja, players take the role of the titular I-Ninja, a master of ancient battle arts with a bit of a Mountain Dew edge. His extreme ninja quest spans five lands of action/adventuring, with end-level bosses (giant robots!) and hordes of ninja armies in the true old-school way. Not only can I-Ninja behead foes unseen, but he can also scale buildings, grind on rails, and use his sword as a helicopter to hover far and wide. I-Ninja?s weapon system allows the player to wield multiple weapons at once too, including the usual ninja arsenal of shurikens, chain-whips, blowguns, and rocket launchers.
Namco will be showing off I-Ninja to the masses at this year?s E3; keep your eyes on this spot for more. Hopefully whether this weird pairing of extreme sports and ninjitsu will be a fruitful one.
