Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg

Mr. Hatcher and his amazing egg collection will be "rolling" onto the GameCube this fall. A "cracking" good time for all is guaranteed.
Although undeniably shadowed by Sonic Heroes (the first original Sonic console game in a couple years), Billy Hatcher is perhaps even more important for Yuji Naka and his crew at Sonic Team?it's the first 100% original game the studio's come up with since Burning Rangers on the Saturn five years ago. As such, Mr. Hatcher (and his rather odd choice of fashion wear) deserves a fair amount of close attention among "hard-boiled" gamers, even if its title causes us to "fry up" endless poultry puns in the process.Billy's choice of costume is not entirely his own fault. This is no regular chicken suit, you understand, but a legendary one that allows the kid free control over the eggs littered throughout the magical land he lives in. These eggs can be hatched and raised with the help of special items; once the creature inside is born, Billy can use them to attack enemies and solve puzzles in the game's assorted wacky platform stages. The object of all this nonsense: to defeat the evil king, return light to the land, and rid the kingdom of its ovular and cholesterol-rich problem.
Coming to the GameCube (and only the GameCube) this fall.
