You want to see twisted metal? THQ will show you twisted metal, buddy.

The lights are coming on, the box is nearly locked?it?s almost robot fightin? time! THQ is about to bring the nerdy carnage of BattleBots to consoles, and the early GameCube playable showed a lot of promise. Not only will 40 of the more famous creations be represented (Nightmare, Mauler, Mouser Mecha Catbot), but an excellent bot builder was already implemented, offering an easy way to buy, assemble, and test the evil robotic critter of your dreams. However, there were still some collision problems to deal with (any machine with small treads could pass through other bots), and the camera positioning could use some tweaking. BattleBots definitely has great potential; time will tell if the game can live up to it.
