Guilty Gear X2 is gorgeous?that?s the first thing you?ll notice before picking your jaw off the ground. The game will feature twice as much detail as other major 2D fighters on the market?the Guilty Gear X series is known to be visually groundbreaking. Thankfully, there was more to the preview version of X2 than just stunning graphics, such as compelling characters and a fighting system that was easy to learn, yet hard to master.

The token story concerns powerful biological weapons known as ?Gears? and, once again, the Guilty Gear tournament will determine who is potent enough to combat this threat. The 20 characters (six are new) will wield glowing swords, anchors, yo-yos, and even huge lengths of hair to slash each other to death. The fighting system has been refined a bit over the original?s, too, and the added play modes could turn the Guilty series into a respectable fighter.
