U.S. gamers frequently get rewarded for their patience...the American version of Koei's Battle Houshin will hurl four-player split-screen support into the fray.
Even though American gamers dont always get to play things before their Japanese counterparts, patience often pays off in the form of new features only found only in the games U.S. form. For the American release of the cartoony, Dynasty Warriorsish Mystic Heroes (called Battle Houshin in Japan), Koei is adding a host of split-screen four-player battle and co-op modes, infinitely amplifying the already elevated chaos effect; the latest preview build kept the frame rate up by compensating with some minor fog. PS2 owners take note: Koei also plans to release the game for that system in December with four new unlockable characters.
