Virtua Tennis

Four Eyed Dragon?s favorite tennis game is now pocket-sized...hands-on impressions await you.

Let?s be honest?tennis games aren?t usually fun. If a sport doesn?t excite you in real life, how could the digital version come close? It wasn?t easy, but Sega captivated even the most stubborn of gamers with their Virtua Tennis title for the recently deceased Dreamcast. How?d they do it? Virtua Tennis? controls were far and away the easiest to pick-up than any other game in existence. Easier than Pong, no lie.

Sega and Altron have recreated the DC favorite for the Game Boy Advance, after only thirty seconds with the preview version, it was like playing the same great debut game. Sure, the graphics may not be as spectacular as the original, but the gameplay pours out of the screen so fast you?ll have to soak it up with your tongue.

The GBA version features single or doubles play in Exhibition, Tournament, and World Circuit mode. World Circuit allows players to customize their own personalized tennis players, rather than pick from the 22 included male and female Pros. While traveling the world, you?ll have access to a variety of difficult but fun training modes. Knocking over robots, cracking giant eggs open with powerful serves and volley target practice highlight the goofy changes of pace, while the invitational tournament play keep the authentic sports feel.

Virtua Tennis? successful history and addictive gameplay will make this a highly sought after title for GBA owners?making finding a doubles partner no sweat.
