Rygar: The Legendary Adventures

Not to be outdone by Ryu Hayabusa�s new Ninja Gaiden, Rygar is coming to the PS2 after 15 years of dormancy.
And now, a new dominator�s reign begins�In 1986, Legendary Warrior Rygar was one of the first arcade games to use a fully 360 joystick. You played as Rygar, a barbarian warrior looking to free the world from an evil Dominator and his legions. With the help of your trusty spiked yo-yo disk thing�, you defeated countless monsters, dodged Death himself, and proved your mastery of 2D gaming.
Tecmo wants to reclaim that action magic by putting Rygar in 3D, keeping the spiked yo-yo disk thing��now called Diskarmor�and adding lush graphics to complement the updated gameplay. The new story has Rygar on the island of Argus, where the Titans are plaguing the land. Volcanoes are erupting, heralded by gigantic earthquakes, and of course, the princess has been kidnapped. It�s up to Rygar to save the day. He�ll have to use his Diskarmor as a weapon, a shield, and a grappling hook to make it past the fiends alive and save the princess.
