You escaped from prison and, in so doing, freed hundreds of bloodthirsty criminals, causing civil war in the nearby area. Now it�s time to clean up your mess.
In Gothic, you were trying to escape the magical dome surrounding the mine prison where you were held. Now you�ve broken free, and with you came the prisoners, angry for having been forced to toil in the mines for so long. The resulting banditry in the nearby town of Khorinis has brought things to the brink of civil war, and only you can stop it. As in the original Gothic, you�ll create your character as you play, building your abilities so you can once again be the hero.
