First details and screens from the GameCube installment of EA's pro boxing franchise.
In its GameCube debut, Knockout Kings 2003 will retain the much-improved graphics and game engine that made the 2002 versions such a blast. It will also feature a new single-player elimination tournament mode, new special punches, and a detailed tracking system that rewards your fighter points for various feats, such as quickest KO. You can expect the usual roster of pugilists from days past, like Ali and Duran, as well as current brawlers such as Trinidad and Lewis and over 20 fictional boxers. Since this GameCube bout is largely a port of KO Kings 2002, the next PS2 and Xbox versions will come out in the fall of 2003 as Knockout Kings 2004.
