Segas arcade soccer series adds cool extras and much more for its home version, Virtua Striker 2002.
Sega is following up its extreme sports title, Soccer Slam, with a more serious offering. There will be no high-flying flaming kicks in Virtua Striker 2002just pure soccer simulation with 64 teams from around the world ready to compete. A total of nine modesInternational Cup, Tournament, League, Penalty Kick, Ranking, Edit, Training, Goal Replay, and VS. matchawait GameCube owners. The preview version looked very sharp with colorful stadiums and fluidly animated players. The gameplay was simplistic and easy to grasp, thanks to Virtua Strikers arcade heritage. There will be no commentary during play, but plenty of crowd chants and ball kicks will fill your speakers come this May.
