Driven, a Formula One racing game based on the film of the same name, will be BAM! Entertainments first attempt at developing for the GameCube.

Money, fame, girls... ah, the life of the Formula One driver. Next month, you too will be able to ride the ragged edge in BAM! Entertainments GameCube version of the film Drivena port of the PS2 version boasting a new physics engine and more arcade-style car handling. Will you have the nerve to race against tough guys with names like Beau Brandenberg or Max Manley? Or will you crack under pressure like cheap asphalt in the blazing sun?

The game will feature Arcade, Story, and Multiplayer modes (Multiplayer will only support 2 players). Eight tracks will test your mettle as you cross the 200 mph barrier. Drive flawlessly for a long enough time, and youll enter The Zone, which pumps up your skills. In addition to the standard racetracks, youll be able to blast through city streets, dodging pedestrians and traffic. And just as youd expect, BAM! is promising spectacular crash sequencesthough Renny Harlanfor better or worsewont be back to direct them. If you liked the movie, or like motor sports, or are just plain glad to see a third-party GameCube title, keep your eyes peeled for Driven.
