Travis bulks up and tests out Frank West's zombie-summoning special moves in Tatsunoko vs. Capcom.
Today, Capcom announced that our favorite zombie-slaying photojournalist Frank West from Dead Rising has been added to the roster of fighters in Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, an over-the-top fighting game exclusively for the Nintendo Wii. Frank's attacks are abrasive like a think-headed brawler and many of his special moves have crossed over from Dead Rising into TvC.
Frank is a buff guy, like Conan in a leather jacket. That's why his basic weak, medium and fierce attacks are primarily a variety of punches rather than kicks. However, don't underestimate his kick slide, because it is very quick and reaches a surprising medium range. Frank is, at his best, a close-quarters brawler and his Zangief-like throw will be your best friend, and your opponent's worse nightmare.
His special moves include the baseball bat Grand Slam swing, which knocks enemies back and off their feet. What's more punishing is Frank's golf club Giant Swing, a swooping attack and great defense against opponents who like to attack by jumping in.
Frank's coolest moves include zombies, of course, and they serve as his projectile attacks in a way. For example, Frank can summon a lumbering zombie and use him to pick up and throw like a flesh-eating spear. Furthermore, Frank can summon a single zombie on the opposite side of the screen that will grab and try to bite your opponent. His super moves include firing a Mega Man super laser (you might remember dressing Frank up as Mega Man in Dead Rising), humiliating his opponent with a Servebot helmet, and summoning an army of marching zombies.
Speaking with producer Ryota Niitsuma, he revealed that more Capcom and Tatsunoko characters are to still be announced and that they'll be from the classic eras of both companies rather than more recent IPs like Frank West from Dead Rising. Tell us who you think should be added to the roster in the comments below.
Frank West's special moves:
Grand Slam
Zombie Attack
Zombie Spree
Giant Swing
The Real Mega Buster - Super
Dead Rising - Super
Zombie Charge - Super

This looks like it'll be one of the best titles on the WII! I love how they're letting a niche title like this get so much coverage and gain so much popularity. This is how Nintendo stays on top, good marketing, good games, and good promotions. Like this online one for a FREE Wii, check the link for info, these are the kinds of promotions Nintendo should do for individual games to keep brand loyalty up!

He looks out of place.
So did Jill in Marvel vs Capcom 2, but they managed to make it work somehow.
