For the first time in the Ben 10 Alien Force videogame series, fans will get to play as ten different alien forms that each have special powers and unique abilities to combat a ton of enemies and solve form-specific puzzles. Ben 10 Alien Force: Vilgax Attacks is also an original storyline in the Alien Force series that sees Ben Tennyson and his ten extraterrestrial superheroes traveling between seven alien planets. With Ben's full range of alien forms available to switch between on the fly, the evil Vilgax doesn't stand a chance.
Mars Attacks
In Ben 10 Alien Force: Vilgax Attacks, you can cycle between ten different alien forms with the left and right shoulder bumpers, then clicking the right thumbstick button to transform Ben into a powerful alien force. I'm no Ben 10 Alien Force expert, but I did recognize and play as the green Goop, agile Spidermonkey, cushinator Humongousaur, fiery Swampfire, and many more.
Each alien controls, fights, and has unique abilities in combat and solving platforming puzzles. For example, Goop can stick onto walls like a booger, Humongousar's brute strength smashes through walls, and Spidermonkey can swing across chasms.
Stuff it, Vilgax!
Even though Ben 10 Alien Force isn't my favorite flavor of gaming goodness, I see the appeal for young boys and imagine my little brothers having a blast playing Ben 10 Alien Force: Vilgax Attacks. The graphics are crisp and colorful on each of the seven alien home planets, and the controls are simple to grasp for players of all skill levels. I might even play Ben 10 Alien Force: Vilgax Attacks because it's simple and the achievement points are sure to be plentiful when the game releases this October.
