You can be the bad guy and re-conquer the world in Legacy of Kain: Blood Omen 2.
You fought against him in Soul Reaver and Soul Reaver 2, and now you�ll get to be Kain, the vampire king who thrust the world into darkness in the original Blood Omen. A mysterious energy has allowed humans to conquer the vampire world and after being defeated, Kain rises to take back his throne. Since he�s one of the most evil characters in gaming history, Kain will have all the dark powers of the undead at his disposal, from supernaturally long leaps to the ability to take the form of mist and other powers.The latest preview version showed a marked improvement in the look and feel of the game�s earlier builds with Kain controlling well and fighting like a maniac. Puzzles consisted of moving boxes, throwing switches, and other not-exactly-mindtwisting challenges that you�ve come to expect from the Legacy of Kain series. The biggest change from Soul Reaver was the feeling of darkness that you got from actually playing as Kain. The preview version was slick about giving you chances to use Kain�s dark gifts, and it offered plenty of hapless mortals to prey upon for blood.
