Banzai Zombies: The Death Swamp Calls! (PS3)

The description for the new map Banzai sounds similar to the Cliffside map; what are the differences? Can you hide behind in the waterfall?

While the map is similar in that it takes place on a Japanese island, the players will notice a distinct difference in lighting, layout, and flow.

Banzai is more of a circular map in that you can either cross the bridge, or take the caverns behind the waterfall to flank a Japanese village from either side. In Cliffside, the only real structures were bombed out bunkers. Banzai also features several different paths that cut up the center a bit, but are not the fastest or easiest routes, which will leave it to the player to decide how to traverse the level.

And to your last question, you absolutely can get behind (and under) the waterfalls!

The same goes for Corrosion sounding very similar to Roundhouse and Station; what are the differences?

I think the only way Corrosion is similar to Roundhouse and Station is that it features Russians vs. Germans =).

Unlike Station, Corrosion features an industrial trainyard, as opposed to the passenger train cars featured in the subway. This makes for a very different setting altogether; a much grittier, outdoor environment. A great distinguishing feature of Corrosion is the series of steel and concrete piping that runs around the perimeter of the level. Players can actually climb up inside these pipes, and use them to flank various objects or as insertion points into the industrial buildings in the level. It offers a unique sense of verticality that should create for some pretty interesting gameplay.

In Sub Pens, will players be able to hide in low water like in Makin?

We wanted to keep Sub Pens as a very close-quarters, non-stop adrenaline rush experience for the players. In so doing, it was decided to keep the player primarily indoors. While you can run out to the bow of the submarine and into the monsoon rain, that's about as close to the water as you'll get in Sub Pens.

Headquarters is pretty ruthless on Sub Pens. You're never more than 5 seconds away from the battle, and more specifically with that game mode it is pretty much full-throttle the entire game as you try to hold down those capture points.
