He does everything a spider canand now you can too, with Activisions multi-platform superhero game.
If Spider-Man Fever were an actual disease, then the government would be preparing a massive vaccination program right about now. The movie comes out nationwide this May, and Activision is furiously finishing up the official video games for the Xbox, PlayStation 2, GameCube, Game Boy Advance and PC to coincide with the theatrical release.Although the Spider-Man video game will be mostly the same across all next-gen consoles, we can expect the Xbox and GameCube versions to look a little smoother than the PS2 one. A brand-new game engine will allow Spidey to swing across the New York skyline, climb up walls, and spin a web (any size) to catch crooks (just like flies). Controlling your superhero in the air is made simple with an altimeter that lets you change your swing altitude, and you can cut your current web-line at any time to drop to the ground immediately. The Green Goblin and other arch-nemeses from the movie will all rear their ugly faces in the game, and Activision promises dizzying aerial battles that will faithfully recreate the feeling of the movie. Youll be able to see for yourself May 3.
