Rapture Beckons
Though more details about BioShock 2 are frustratingly scarce, what we saw looked promising indeed. With a more combat-friendly control scheme, much improved Plasmid abilities, and new underwater sequences to add more variety, BioShock 2 is looking like a worthy sequel to the groundbreaking first game.
Still, questions remain. Besides the wicked Big Sister, who is the chief antagonist? Ideologue Andrew Ryan is long dead, but 2K Marin's Thomas promised that other characters have moved to take over Rapture since his death. Thomas seemed most excited about the game's philosophical overtones, which will expand greatly on BioShock's exploration of free will and Objectivism. At its core, though, BioShock 2 is still a white-knuckle shooter with gorgeous graphics. Whether you loved BioShock for its thought-provoking storyline, its steampunk art direction, or its intense action, BioShock 2 is serving up a heaping plate of second helpings.
Rapture beckons. Will you answer the call? The bathysphere departs this fall.

man i cant freakin wait.i absolutly loved the first game.one of my favorite games of all time and probably one of the best next gen games.

Completed this on both X-Box and PS3 and the game is brilliant, Can't wait for this it's going to be fantastic.

Bioshock 2 is probably one of my most anticipated games.
The first one was brilliant though, so the devs have really got their hands full if they want to live up to expectations.

I'm glad they are coming out with another Bioshock! I'm sure for the people that played the game knew that another would come out! This time for both systems at the same time. That is great for the people that only have one system. If you have not played the first game, now is a great time! It's cheap now, for both the 360 and PS3. As for the new game I would love to see some CO-OP that would be way cool!

I hope there are other big daddies than yourself... hearing their whale-like groans and stomps was one of the high-points of the game.

The protagonist of Bioshock is the antagonist if you choose to harvest the little sisters in Bioshock 2.
