  • Broken Steel is the third downloadable content package for Fallout 3, following The Pitt and Operation Anchorage, and is by far the largest. The Xbox 360 and PC exclusive DLC packs in new Achievements, powerful new Perks, raises the level cap from 20 to 30, and continues the main quest line after the end of Fallout 3.

    Something's in the Water

Broken Steel picks up at the end of Fallout 3. Instead of you going through the reactor, computer-controlled partners jump in instead. This is what allows you to continue playing an additional 4-5 hour quest line in Broken Steel, including countless hours of new side quests, and a new space to explore outside of nuke-blasted Washington D.C.

As you work to restore Project Purity and bring fresh water to the citizens of the mainland, Broken Steel will introduce you to new weapons and enemies. You'll also protect fresh-water carrying caravans to Megaton, and also collect components to craft the experimental Powerworks weapon and the new Tesla Cannon. We witnessed the Tesla Cannon snipe electrical beams at long distances to take out hovering Vertibird aircraft in one explosive mushroom-cloud shot. In addition, you'll encounter the new Overlord Super Mutants that carry the yet-unseen Trilaser gun, Feral Ghoul Reavers that love to throw grenades of all shapes and sizes, and Enclave Hellfire troopers that wield a flamethrower-like napalm gun that spits globs of burning goo. There will be new armor, too, to collect and show off in the wastelands; the new Hellfire Trooper armor is just one new type.

3 x 800 = 2400 points. that's like equivalent to what it would cost for the Oblivion expansion. =P

Sigh... got Fallout 3 for the PS3. Hopefully there will be a game of the year edition for it.

    Yeah This is Bullshit.

And yet again, ps3 owners are cheated out of DLC for games. I own both consoles, and enjoy them both, but I bought the ps3 first, and now Im afraid to go near any ps3 versions of games for fear of losing out on more downloadable content.

I wish I could get this too! But I must say xbox users having to pay for gold gives microsoft more of a drive to make it worth it, such as having a lot of dlc exclusives. They have far more money than sony so they can definately afford to.

But even still I'm pretty jealous about this.

i wasn't. it was clearly stated, like GTAIV, what version "wouldnt" get DLC.

It appears that someone has deleted your forums, and a ton of members. Somehow they got into a mod's account. This time you guys need to file charges, because that does interfere with your business.

Someone need to go to prison and get their butthole stretched over this one.

    This is bull****.

BTW, this it teh2Dgamer ex GP mod who's been banned by the mod impostor.

This is teh2Dgamer. Someone must have gotten into a mod's account, and they not only banned all the mods, but they deleted everything.
