Six Days in Fallujah revealed

The developers at Atomic Games claim that Six Days in Fallujah has the most advanced environment destruction technology in development, even compared to games that aren't yet out.

One thing the developers at Atomic Games won't be able to blow a hole through, however, will be the controversy surrounding the game's premise. The Iraq War has been one of the most controversial and polarizing events in the history of the United States. Planning a third-person shooter based around these very real events -- events that are still fresh in the mind of the public -- is an admittedly risky move. The developers don't deny this, freely admitting that the game portrays "enormously traumatic events" in a videogame setting. Tamte doesn't shy away from the controversy, but offers a perspective that could mark a new beginning for video game storytelling. "The Iraq War is the most relevant event of an entire generation," he says. "And videogames are the medium of preference for this generation." And as for the controversy over the war itself? "We want players to draw their own conclusions."

This looks like the best thing ever. I have been waiting for a game where everything is destructable. Hopefully I won't be disappoint.

......why? Let Infinity Ward make the fun fictional stuff. This game is meant to scare you from war, so you won't feel compelled to sign with the Marines just B "ECUZ U PWN AT TEH CAL OF DUTY 4"

if the environments are fully destructible, combined with the whole premise of the game, this could be a real hit
