There are both single-player and multiplayer modes to choose from in SIE. Multiplayer modes covers all the bases with both local and online capabilities. Bosses--larger versions of invaders--make an appearance in SIE, further evolving the once static gameplay. Invader formations vary from level to level just as they did in the original, yet the newcomers are entirely more imaginative. There are various ways to rack up points in the form of power ups and bonus rounds. UFOs randomly scroll by and if shot rake in the points. Accumulating mass amounts of points and putting all your friends to shame will be the name of the game upon its release. SIE is addictive and classy so get those Microsoft points ready because this will be well worth the download.
